Our metal tableware is individually hand crafted. After being cast in sand and fired, each piece is polished to a high sheen by craftsmen who uphold a high standard of quality. As with any work of art, slight variations can be expected. Artisans have been sand casting pewter tableware for centuries, but only recently has the metal content been revised. Aluminum is now used instead of pewter (which contains lead) to allow for safely cooking and serving food. All of the pieces are tested, and can safely travel from the freezer to the oven (up to 500 degrees), stovetop, or grill to the table. Beautiful and functional!

Acidic food (tomato sauce, salsa, salad dressing, etc.) can pit and/or discolor the metal; we recommend spraying or brushing oil on the piece before use.

Not for use in the dishwasher - hand wash only please!
